1. Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 - 30 minutes.
2. Add meat, if desired. Serve warm.
Serving Suggestion: Top individual servings with crushed tortilla chips, sour cream, shredded cheddar, avocados, and/or tomatoes and serve with our Homemade Gourmet® Texas Cornbread.
Taco Dip: - Combine 3 tablespoons of mix with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, ¼ cup salsa, 8 ounces sour cream and ½ cup real mayonnaise until well blended. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving with chips, crackers or vegetables of your choice.
