1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13x9x2 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside. Remove seasoning packet from casserole mix and set pasta aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine seasoning packet with water and stir until well blended. Add pasta, milk, 1 cup cheese and chicken*. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
3. Cover and bake 1 hour or until pasta is done and chicken is no longer pink in center. Sprinkle remaining cheese over casserole and bake uncovered 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
*May substitute 1 12.5-ounce can white chicken in water, drained or 1 16-ounce package link sausage, sliced.
