1. In large saucepan, brown ground beef; drain.
2. Add chili mix, tomato juice, diced tomatoes and chilies and chili beans. Cook on medium heat for 25 minutes. Add more tomato juice or water to reach desired consistency; heat thoroughly.
3. Serve chili with cheese and onions if desired.
*May substitute 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce and 11/4 cup water for tomato juice.
Mild Version: For a milder version, use MILD diced tomatoes and green chilies OR diced tomatoes (undrained) and add a 46-ounce can of tomato juice and simmer until desired consistency is reached.
